How does checkout work?
Checkout runs on Shopify's own hosted payment page — this site never stores or sees your card details.
Which countries do you ship to?
Most of the EU, from the Netherlands to the Balkans — pick your country in the shipping section on either product page to see the exact price and deadline.
Is this legal to sell online? Do you check my age?
Yes — this is alcohol, sold under NIX18 rules. You confirm you're 18 or older when you enter the site, and the recipient must be 18 or older on delivery too.
Can I add individual beers from the Hoptimaal shop to my order?
No — an advent order contains calendars only. You can combine multiple calendars (both editions included) in a single order; individual beers are a separate order via hoptimaal.com.

When does my box ship and arrive?
Boxes ship from November 18th via DPD, timed to land before December 1st — see the shipping section above for the exact price and deadline for your country.
What if I'm not home when DPD delivers?
DPD leaves a card with a redelivery option or a nearby pickup point — the same track-and-trace link in your shipping email covers both.
Can I send this as a gift, straight to someone else?
Yes — enter their address at checkout instead of your own. The recipient still needs to be 18 or older to receive it; the mystery stays intact either way.
What exactly is "the password"?
The box prints a line across its doors. On December 24th this site asks you one question about it — answer it and the last door opens. No hints from us before then, and none in this description either.

What happens on day 24?
The finale the journal has been quietly building toward since entry one. We're not saying more than that — it's the one entry we won't summarize for you.
